Ok, so the school year isn't exactly "new" any more but this is the first time I've posted this school year. MJHS was named the #1 academic high school in TN by SCORE!!! This is a really big deal and now the pressure is on!!!!
I just wanted to say that I miss y'all & hope you are having an AWESOME Senior year!!!

Second day, first posts!
After 2 days of helping you create gmail addies, register on eblogger.com, design blog backgrounds & layouts, all of you, B2 class, have published your first posts on their Literary Response Blogs! I am so proud of you! This is not an easy way to journal but it is much more exciting! Don't you agree?
I expect great things from all of you during this unit! "The Taming of the Shrew" is one of my favorite William Shakespeare plays! It is very funny in a satirical way!

Since "Cool Schools" is Friday, we will not be blogging again until next week. I know you are disappointed :( but there will be plenty of opportunities. You will be experienced bloggers by the end of this semester!

Spring Break
Hello, my wonderful students! I miss you all! I certainly hope you are all having fun while making good decisions and keeping yourselves safe! Remember our assembly on Friday?
I'm working, of course. Today and tomorrow I am participating in an inservice with Dr. Rebecca Hines that will hopefully help me do an even better job teaching "y'all". ;) I am creating this blog to help our communication and to provide you with more resources. I have some great ideas to incorporate "blogging" more and more in my curriculum. This could be a really fun way to teach you to write.
